An honest look at the service.
We offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for clients seeking help with opioid use, alcohol use, cravings, relapse prevention, or recovery maintenance. Care is delivered without judgment and always in the context of whole-person mental health.
We prescribe Suboxone, Sublocade, Brixadi, and Vivitrol. We pair medication with therapy, case management, and coordination with higher levels of care when needed. We do not provide methadone.
Co-occurring conditions — anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, bipolar, sleep — are addressed as part of the same plan, not separate ones.

Modalities we use
How we show up — for the long haul.
We're not just here to write a prescription. Care is a partnership, and the work doesn't stop when the appointment ends.
Nonjudgmental care
We understand that substance use concerns are complex and deeply personal. Our goal is to provide care that is respectful, realistic, and focused on safety, stability, and progress.
Evidence-based medication support
Medication-assisted treatment can be an important tool for recovery. Our providers evaluate each client's history, symptoms, cravings, substance use patterns, medical considerations, safety needs, and goals before making treatment recommendations.
Therapy and recovery support
Medication is only one part of treatment. Our therapists support clients in addressing patterns of use, emotional triggers, trauma, stress, relationships, coping skills, relapse prevention, and the mental health symptoms that often occur alongside substance use.
Ongoing monitoring
Mental health needs can change over time. Follow-up appointments allow your provider to assess progress, adjust medications when needed, monitor side effects, and help ensure treatment remains appropriate.
Co-occurring mental health support
Substance use and mental health symptoms often overlap. We evaluate and treat co-occurring concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, mood instability, ADHD, sleep issues, and other psychiatric symptoms when appropriate.
Collaborative recovery planning
Recovery looks different for every person. We work with clients to identify goals, reduce barriers, monitor progress, address setbacks, and build a treatment plan that supports long-term stability.
Higher level of care coordination
When detoxification, intensive outpatient treatment, residential care, or emergency services may be needed, we discuss next steps and coordinate with our community partners.
No guesswork — here's how it actually goes.
- 01
Initial assessment
A detailed psychiatric and substance-use assessment helps us choose the right medication and pair it with the right support.
- 02
Starting medication
Depending on which medication is right for you, you'll either begin in-office or with a take-home prescription. We walk you through any opioid-free period required first.
- 03
Therapy & recovery support
MAT works best paired with therapy, case management, and community recovery resources. We help connect the pieces.
- 04
Ongoing monitoring
Regular check-ins for medication response, side effects, and overall progress. We adjust dose or medication as needed and coordinate higher levels of care when called for.
Questions we hear often.
Do you provide methadone?
No. We do not provide methadone treatment. For methadone, we can help refer you to a specialized opioid treatment program.
What's the difference between Suboxone, Sublocade, Brixadi, and Vivitrol?
Suboxone is a daily oral medication. Sublocade and Brixadi are long-acting monthly injections of buprenorphine. Vivitrol is a long-acting monthly injection of naltrexone for either opioid or alcohol use. Your provider helps you choose what fits your situation.
Is MAT covered by insurance?
Yes — most major plans, including Medicaid and Tricare, cover MAT medications. We handle prior authorizations on your behalf.
Can I do MAT and therapy at the same time?
Yes — and we recommend it. MAT pairs best with therapy, case management, and community recovery support.
